As a Member of Technical Staff for the SIM/UICC Strategy team, you will be working with the team responsible for the triage of SIM and device solutions. You\xe2\x80\x99ll provide solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering principles. This is a very dynamic and exciting role that will allow for exposure to emerging mobility, virtualization and cloud technologies! We are seeking candidates who are eager to learn and grow their skills as part of a diverse, talented and energetic group of professionals working in the areas of cloud computing, data analytics, software development and technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applies engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise.
• Provides technical expertise within project teams.
• Develop networking designs to support initiatives
• Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams
• Represent the group internally across the company to provide functional and technical leadership and externally to submit vendor feature requests

Required Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informational Technology, Data Communications from an accredited university.

Desired Experience (in any of the following, not necessarily all of these fields):

Cloud Computing:

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Awareness of virtualization, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
• Basic programming skills in a language like Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts

Data Analytics:

• Some experience with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Exposure to data manipulation and analysis libraries, such as Pandas or NumPy
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of data visualization and statistics

Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (not mandatory but a plus):

• Awareness of machine learning frameworks and concepts
• Basic understanding of mathematics relevant to AI/ML
• Familiarity with data preprocessing and model evaluation techniquesTelecom Industry (not mandatory but a plus):
• Basic understanding of telecommunications, network architecture, and wireless communication protocols
• Exposure to network analysis and telecom-specific data sources
• Familiarity with geospatial analysis, IoT, edge computing, and security and privacy concepts in the telecom industry

Software Development & Delivery:

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Familiarity with Azure and ADO concepts
• Basic experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Exposure to Unix shell, Ansible, and Python scripting
• Understanding of YAML and JSON file types and their usage

Our Member of Technical Staff earn between $98,000 - $196,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
