JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Title Clerk provides clerical support by processing and filing Title paperwork to establish ownership of vehicles being purchased or sold for Mercedes-Benz of Farmington.
Punctual and regular attendance.
Check-in new vehicle Certificates of Origin (Titles), record stock numbers and file appropriately.
Responsible to process all paperwork, including registration/licensing and make all accounting entries for the transactions involving the sales of vehicles.
Audit title paperwork, file documents supporting sales and accounting entries and monitor transaction documents to ensure that all vehicle sales activities are properly documented and conducted in line with generally accepted business and accounting practices.
Process all vehicle sales, registration and licensing paperwork and make all appropriate entries for vehicle sales transactions for the organization daily in line with the organization\'s, the manufacturer\'s, legal and regulatory expectations and generally accepted business and accounting practices.
Assist in documenting and reporting financial and sales information to authorized others.
Use all appropriate security measures and safeguards to safeguard the organization\'s assets.
Follow all policies and procedures for operations (organization and manufacturer/supplier).
Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Assists and calls customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Notify manager of problem Titles; follow-up on all out-standing Title issues.
Practice safe work habits, and follow the company\'s safety policies.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education & Experience:
Excellent accounting, auditing and reporting skills with knowledge of the operations, registration and reporting requirements for vehicle sales in the State of Utah.
Prior successful experience and/or training as an Automotive Title Clerk preferred.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase technical skills should be evident.
Certificates & Licenses
Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Regular, punctual attendance is required.
