VMC | Merchandiser

Location: Huntsville, AL

Department: VMC Corporate

Do you have a keen eye for detail, a flair for creative displays, and a strong desire to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers? AWG is currently seeking a Merchandiser to help assist our Member Retailers with, but not limited too:

• Selling members on new VMC skus.
• Filling voids with proper shelf placement of VMC items.
• Presenting and selling all VMC Programs and promotional events.
• Participate in planning and resetting of Member stores as directed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervision and physical duties of all activities related to VMC products at store level.
• Help coordinate and implement store resets from start to finish including planograms, floor plans, and shelf locations.
• Assist in training and development of GM, HBW, & NOS in-store personnel.
• Recommend products, product lines and promotional activities and analyze slow-sellers.

GM | General Merchandise

HBW | Heath, Beauty, Wellness

NOS | Natural, Organic, Specialty Foods

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in retail merchandising.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate within a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with reliable transportation.
• Perform bending, squatting, reaching from floor to 6ft.
• Walking, standing, and being able to lift 50lbs.
• Able to operate circular saw and cordless drills.
• Salesperson mindset- ability to sell!
• Overnight travel required.
