Holy Family School - StowStow, OhioHoly Family School is seeking a sixth and seventh grade middle school teacher to teach English and reading for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidate must have a current and active license for educating elementary students (or in process to be completed prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year).Elementary Teacher 1. Diligently, effectively, efficiently, and professionally performing the duties assigned to him or her and as directed by and to the satisfaction of the Employer. 2. Devoting all of his/her time, attention, and efforts during working hours to the performance of his/her duties during contracted time. 3. Abiding by all policies, handbooks, rules, and regulations of the Holy Family School. 4. Consistently providing faith-based instruction and integration of the Catholic Faith in the classroom regardless of the subject being taught. 5. Working cooperatively, respectfully, and professionally with the Employer, all School employees and staff, colleagues, students, parents/guardians, and all others whom the Teacher-Minister encounters as part of the performance of his/her duties under this Agreement. 6. Arriving at work no later than the designated start time and leaving no earlier than the designated ending time each work day. 7. Acting as an outstanding personal role-model of the Catholic faith and religion by living both his/her professional and personal life in accordance with the doctrines and morals of the Catholic Church. 8. Embodying and modeling in his/her actions and performance the principles and values of the Catholic Church and its doctrines. 9. Always being mindful of the impact of his/her role-modeling on behalf of the Catholic Church in the transmission of the Catholic faith and Catholic values to the students of the School not only through his/her classroom instruction but also through his/her personal conduct and example, regardless of whether the Teacher-Minister provides religious instruction to students.Duties: 1. Create a learning environment that is safe and nurturing. 2. Confer with parent/guardians, co-teachers, and administrators to resolve students\xe2\x80\x99 behavioral or academic needs. 3. Maintain a safe and organized classroom. 4. Supervise students during lessons, snack/meal time, and recess. 5. Attend and participate in staff members and extra-curricular/school related activities and committees. 6. Accompany students on field trips. 7. Perform duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.Skills and Qualifications: 1. Ability to develop instructional strategies activities that are engaging and educational for students in the classroom. 2. Ability to instruct children in rules of conduct and learning of tasks. 3. Ability to communication effectively with stakeholders 4. Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents. 5.
