Sayres is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Systems Engineer with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

• provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.

Preferred Specialization:

DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; ship building experience

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
• 3+ years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
• Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS/JPAS

Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

• Master\'s degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
• Professional Engineer License
• 5+ years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
