Job Responsibilities
Under limited supervision of the Assistant Dairy Manager,
- Responsible for the management of 1,000 cow dairy herd to include milking, breeding, and herd health.
- Responsible for the supervision and training of an inmate workforce at the dairy.
- Work hours will vary with other employees to include evenings, days, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A High School Diploma and experience in farm management. A Bachelor\'s Degree in Agriculture may be substituted for the farm management experience. (Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the State Division of Human Resources).
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A High School diploma and experience in farm management
A bachelor\'s degree in agriculture may be substituted for the farm management experience.
