Leidos, Dynetics Group is seeking a talented Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to develop and maintain high fidelity sensor simulation models for US Army and Air Force UAV/RPA (Unmanned Air Vehicle/Remotely Piloted Aircraft) trainer systems.

The software facilitates war fighters to train like they fight, since the sensor model products are designed to interoperate with tactical Ground Control Station software.

This role involves collaborative software development in an agile scrum environment using the C++ and C# programming languages.

The candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and be a motivated independent learner. The candidate must be highly organized and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience (or 6 years of experience with master\xe2\x80\x99s degree).
• Must have experience in designing and maintaining software products and implementing software designs.
• Must have experience in software development, data structures, object-oriented design, and effective unit testing.

• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Huntsville, AL area.

Other Qualifications:

• Should have experience with software best practices such as peer reviews and document generation.
• Experience with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol a plus.
• Prior experience with GPU acceleration a plus.
• Experience with Synthetic Aperture RADAR a plus.

FORTRAN experience also a plus.

Resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate in order to work on-site at the Huntsville, AL office.

Candidate must be a US citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance or be eligible to acquire & maintain a Secret Clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $97,500.00 - $176,250.00
