The iOS product development team is responsible for developing and deploying the eBay iOS apps (iPhone, iPad):

The Senior iOS Engineer will have an expert\'s depth and breadth of experience in iOS, Swift, Objective-C, and XCode as well as familiarity with the integration of network services. The candidate will be proficient in teaching and leading by example and mentoring both junior and senior engineers.

Responsibilities:

Designing / giving functional and technical direction to a solution

TDD/BDD, clean code, software craftsmanship

Testing at all levels (unit, integration, UI and acceptance)

Refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability

Static analysis tool

Continuous delivery and integration

Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation

Planning, Retrospectives, Story Writing and tasking, Training / coaching

Requirements:

6-8+ Years of software design and development experience working on a team

4+ years of experience generating commercial quality iOS applications using Swift/Swift UI and Cocoa - please provide links to published apps if avaiable

Deep webservice & API experience

Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules, tight integration with QA and product management

Deep understanding of design patterns, and experience working in a layered architecture

Strong work ethic \xe2\x80\x93 someone who takes great pride in professionalism, responsibility, and being proactive

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Any experience in programming other types of mobile devices like Android, Windows, etc.

Ability to work independently and the confidence to question where necessary

Mobile Architecture experience and Graph QL a plus!

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below. $135,200 - $205,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
