Description Multi-Media Sales Representative Durango, CO, USA Ballantine Communications, a family oriented business, serves our communities by providing relevant information, building knowledge and supporting economic vitality. We are seeking an energetic, sales driven individual looking for a career in media sales. Media is exciting and the sky's the limit industry and Ballantine Communication is growing exponentially. As a multimedia sales representative, you will be responsible for helping small to medium businesses reach their goals. Other responsibilities include prospecting, conducting needs assessments, creating and presenting proposals, and servicing accounts. This role will contact key decision-makers and businesses, meet with them to understand their marketing needs, and develop proposals that focus on digital and print marketing solutions to help them grow their businesses.

Essential Responsibilities: Build rapport and cold call new prospects Prospect a full list of past advertising clients to call, offering win-back opportunities Follow up on pipeline prospect and callbacks Utilize email correspondence, client testimonials, and market statistics to build interest Effectively communicate appropriate rebuttals to all sales objections Ability to recommend products and services that best fit customers needs Coordinate with graphic team to produce thoughtful and creative ads that catch the attention of clients target market Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven ability to establish/maintain interpersonal relationships Work exceptionally well in a team environment Highly motivated and results-oriented Ability to self-generate leads Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving and decision making abilities Strong customer service skills Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment Entrepreneurial spirit Digital, Print or Media advertising sales experience is a plus. Candidates must have personal transportation Working knowledge of Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software applications quickly

Training and Education: Preferably, 1 to3 years of proven outside sales experience and, ideally, in the capacity of media sales Associate's degree or equivalent experience

Pay: $15 -$17 per hour + commission
