Description Multi-Media Sales Representative Durango, CO, USA Ballantine Communications, a family oriented business, serves our communities by providing relevant information, building knowledge and supporting economic vitality. We are seeking an energetic, sales driven individual looking for a career in media sales. Media is exciting and the sky\'s the limit industry and Ballantine Communication is growing exponentially. As a multimedia sales representative, you will be responsible for helping small to medium businesses reach their goals. Other responsibilities include prospecting, conducting needs assessments, creating and presenting proposals, and servicing accounts. This role will contact key decision-makers and businesses, meet with them to understand their marketing needs, and develop proposals that focus on digital and print marketing solutions to help them grow their businesses.

Essential Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Build rapport and cold call new prospects \xe2\x80\xa2 Prospect a full list of past advertising clients to call, offering win-back opportunities \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow up on pipeline prospect and callbacks \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilize email correspondence, client testimonials, and market statistics to build interest \xe2\x80\xa2 Effectively communicate appropriate rebuttals to all sales objections \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to recommend products and services that best fit customers needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with graphic team to produce thoughtful and creative ads that catch the attention of clients target market \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven ability to establish/maintain interpersonal relationships \xe2\x80\xa2 Work exceptionally well in a team environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly motivated and results-oriented \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to self-generate leads \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong problem solving and decision making abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong customer service skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Entrepreneurial spirit \xe2\x80\xa2 Digital, Print or Media advertising sales experience is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidates must have personal transportation \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software applications quickly

Training and Education: \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably, 1 to3 years of proven outside sales experience and, ideally, in the capacity of media sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Associate\'s degree or equivalent experience

Pay: $15 -$17 per hour + commission
