Anticipated work period: 06/16/2023 to 04/15/2024 Workers needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 6 Delimber $25.00/hr base rate 918801 Will be a Delimber Operator. Worker must operate a track or tire mounted mechanical Delimber. Must be able to identify trees according to species and sort them to designated piles. Retrieves unlimbed trees from a road side yard, delimbs them and places them in an orderly manner for easy retrieval by the loading crane. Must have the ability to work as a three member team and maintain productive as a team. Must be able to operate carrier vehicle. Must perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment daily. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a Delimber operator. Must abide by landowner, OSHA Workers Needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 6 Logging Tractor Operator/grapple skidder $23.50/hr base rate 918813 Will be a Logging Tractor Operator, grapple skidder operator. Worker will operate a track or tire mounted grapple skidder. Worker must bunches logs or pulpwood according to specie and size and haul it to roadside and/or yard. Worker must pile logs or pulpwood by specie and size in orderly piles. Must perform minor maintenance daily and repair equipment. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather conditions. Worker must have ability to safely operate machine in mountainous, rocky and steep terrain. Must abide by landowner and OSHA regulations. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a grapple skidder operator. Must have ability to work, communicate and maintain work performance as a three member team. Machine is equipped with radios that worker must use as communication between team members. Must have a valid drivers license. Workers Needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 2 Operating Engineer $22.70/hr base rate 918896 Will be an Operating Engineer. This occupation consists of building and maintaining logging roads. Employees will operate bulldozers, motor graders, front end loaders, chainsaws, dump or tractor trailer trucks, excavators, cranes, and other similar road construction equipment. Worker must hold a valid class "A" or "B" driver\'s license. Workers may be required to move road building equipment as associated with building logging roads. Workers must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and do daily maintenance on equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have two years of referenced, paid experience as an operating engineer in relations to building logging roads. Must be in good health and physical condition. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Workers Needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 2 Log Loader Operator $21.00/hr base rate 918777 Log loader Operator: Operate a loader equipped with cable, hydraulic or pneumatic controlled grapples. Load tree-length wood, four foot pulpwood and logs onto trucks and trailers. Select wood to be loaded by specie and size to attain a balanced and compact load. Operate a truck so that loader can be moved from one site to another. Perform minor maintenance on loader and truck. Make minor repairs and adjustments to loader and truck. Be knowledgeable about mechanics and hydraulics. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a shovel loader operator ( hydraulic Crane ). Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must be in good health and physical condition. Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and in remote areas. Operator must comply with landowner environmental regulations. Must have ability to load two trucks per hour. Must have a valid class "B" driver license and be insurance by the company\'s insurance carrier. Workers Needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 2 Mechanics $25.75/hr base rate 918899 Must be able to perform general maintenance on heavy logging equipment. Must be fully knowledgeable of all-round mechanics and hydraulics. Must be able to weld adequately using different welding equipment and techniques. Must be able to manage the Company preventative maintenance program. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver\'s license and be insurable by employer\'s insurance carrier. Must have 24 months of referenced, paid experience as a Logging Equipment Mechanic. Must be in good health and good physical condition. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunction in the field and issue diagnosis on repair time frame. Must have thorough knowledge of electric over hydraulics and diesel over electric. Workers Needed Occupation: Wage dependent on experience: Job Order# 4 Fellerbuncher Op $24.00/hr base rate 918807 Must have satisfactory understanding and knowledge of electrical over hydraulics functions in mechanical equipment. Must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and perform daily maintenance to equipment. Must be able to operate a chainsaw. Must be at least 18 years of age and have six months of referenced, paid experience as a fellerbuncher operator. Must be in good health and physical condition and be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to read, understand, interpret and execute harvest prescription issued by forester, landowner and/or employer. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must be able to exercise proper felling techniques and promptly determine the most beneficial selection of cutting lengths. Must abide by all employer, landowner and OSHA regulations as they relate to forestry industry. The job openings are temporary positions. Work is guaranteed for 3/4 of the contract period specified in reg. 20 CFR 655.122(i).Housing will be made available at no cost to workers, including U.S. workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of each working day. Workers will also be paid an overtime rate of pay equal to one and one half the base rates of pay listed above for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the same pay week period, if applicable. Work Tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided by the employer or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate. Base rates are for the first 40 hours worked within a pay week period. Workers will also be paid an overtime rate of pay equal to one and one half the base rates of pay listed above for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the same pay week period, if applicable.
