In this position, to be achieved through successful management of people, process and product.REPORTING STRUCTURExc2xb7 Reporting to: Production Supervisorxc2xb7 Direct Reports: N/AESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIESxc2xb7 Understand, follow and promote all company policies and procedures.xc2xb7 Clean and prepare work sites to eliminate possible hazards.xc2xb7 Read productions drawings, plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.xc2xb7 Erect or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts and other hand tools.xc2xb7 Measure, and mark dimensions to layout areas where work will be performed.xc2xb7 Position, join, align, seal and/or secure structural components, such as rebar, block outs, corbels or cage components.xc2xb7 Grind, scrape, or sand surfaces such as concrete using abrasive tools or machines.xc2xb7 Assist with stressing and de-tensioning of strand, including operating stressing pump and other equipment.xc2xb7 Smooth or finish freshly poured concrete using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered finishing tools.xc2xb7 Use equipment, power tools, and hands tools as designed and in a safe and effective manner.xc2xb7 Physical demands include lifting at least 40 pounds, frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, standing.xc2xb7 Perform other job functions duties as directed by Crew Leader or Supervisor in a safe and effective manner.xc2xb7 Demonstrate diligence in maintaining a clean, work environment at all times.xc2xb7 Other duties as assigned.We are a drug and alcohol-free workplace.UNISTRESS participates in the E-Verify Program and is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employee.OUR LEGACY: In 1910, 16-year-old Basilio Petricca stepped off the boat from Italy onto New York's Ellis Island. Position RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSxc2xb7 Education - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.xc2xb7 Experience - 1 to 3 years of carpentry, mechanical, manufacturing, production or laborer related experience preferred.xc2xb7 Carpentry Skills - Knowledge of basic measurements. Ability to use a tape measure to record, mark or communicate physical dimensions preferred.xc2xb7 Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals preferred.xc2xb7 Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, simple drawings, and procedure manuals.xc2xb7 Good communication skills.
