We are excited to be hiring a Municipal Civil Engineer in our Meridian, ID office. While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will:

\xc2\xb7 Provide engineering design and project management services for various municipal engineering projects including water, sewer, storm water, irrigation, and other municipal services for cities, agencies, private, state and federal clients throughout the Treasure Valley and Southern Idaho.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.

\xc2\xb7 Produce construction documents including plans, specifications, engineering cost estimates, and contracting documents.

\xc2\xb7 Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.

\xc2\xb7 Produce design reports, memoranda, evaluations, models and assessments related to engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, operators, planners and public agencies on projects. Workshare with other offices.

\xc2\xb7 Utilize design tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), AutCAD/Civil3D, GIS, and water/sewer hydraulic models.

\xc2\xb7 Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and engineers.

Salary Range starts at $85,000 and is negotiable determined on experience. \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Certification as Professional Engineer (P.E.).

\xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience as a P.E. with increasing responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and writing skills.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in MS Office.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS is desired.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with hydraulic modeling is desired, but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Proven technical background and skillset.

\xc2\xb7 Municipal engineering background.
