Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities in a home or community setting.

Duties

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Observe and report any changes in client's condition or behavior. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or assisted living is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is advantageous. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor. Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus. Excellent patient observation skills to identify changes in health status. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
