Minimum 5 years work experience in the telecommunications industry with in depth knowledge and advanced proficiency in CWDM/DWDM/ROADM optical transport systems, particularly Fujitsu products.
Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating proficient use of computers, including experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office software, as well as experience with relational and web-based database applications.
Minimum 3 years work experience using vendor network management systems, such as NetSmart 500/1500 and Virtuora, for effective retrieval and understanding of network configuration and status information.
Minimum 3 years work experience effectively communicating with and coordinating the efforts of geographically distributed teams.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Extensive knowledge of transport networks at layers 1, 2, and 3, particularly with ROADM, WDM, and Metro Ethernet design and engineering.
General knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment
Positive, productive demeanor; self-motivated, engaged team player who has demonstrated success collaborating across teams

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Desired formal training in vendor led design and provisioning of optical networking equipment; Fujitsu a plus.

Assists in the design, documentation, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems related to transport network expansion, optimization, and evolution.
Able to prioritize and effectively balance design, inventory/documentation, and implementation tasks of multiple concurrent projects in various stages of progression.
Coordinates the installation, testing, and turn up of transport hardware and provisioned services to meet established intervals and due dates.
Supports installation and activation troubleshooting, as needed.
Maintains accurate design and inventory database records.
Manages workflow tools to create, track, and update tasks to document project progress
Ensures compliance with all Client Wireless standards and practices.
Communicates effectively at all levels.
Perform duties with minimum supervision, as an individual contributor and in a team environment, maintaining high levels of integrity.
