Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Specialist Sr. to join a 7-year Department of Defense (DoD) project located in New Orleans, LA in support of the Department of the Navy (DON) and U.S. Marine Corps. The Network Operations Specialist Sr. will be responsible for new and updated configurations of router, switches and firewalls as well as performing network troubleshooting and resolutions.

Responsibilities of the Network Operations Specialist Sr include:

\xc2\xb7 Coordinating infrastructure repairs and directing remote activities to ensure continuity.

\xc2\xb7 Review root cause analysis to address performance management and incident correlation issues.

\xc2\xb7 Oversee and document daily shift activities using the appropriate tools and provide incident notification to the appropriate government representatives.

Qualifications of the Network Operations Specialist Sr include:

\xc2\xb7 6 plus years\' of IT experience required

\xc2\xb7 Experience maintaining, administering, configuring, and troubleshooting MCEN Network Devices

\xc2\xb7 Direct experience with Cisco SD Access required

\xc2\xb7 Certification Requirements: Must have IAT Level III Certificate and two of the following:

o CCNP Routing and Switching, CCDP, MCTS, or MCSA

\xc2\xb7 Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required

Compensation for the Network Operations Specialist Sr includes:

\xc2\xb7 Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 depending upon experience and qualifications
