Overview: *All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*

As a nurse in our medical and surgical telemetry unit in the Cardiovascular service line, you will have unique opportunities to learn at every corner. If you have passion for improving the health of the Valley and its residents, you can make a difference here at the region\'s safety net hospital, and the only area hospital with a destination therapy certification for Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) patients and certification for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) patients.

This is your chance to grab a unique opportunity in your field; working with post open heart and other specialty patients, all while working alongside a close knit team! This is a high acuity unit that has 3 specialty types of patients including LVAD, PAH and post open hearts. We are looking for nurses committed to excellent patient care, while also being willing to take on a challenge and multitask in a fast paced environment.

Your best day is when you and your team members discharge patients knowing you delivered compassionate, quality, efficient care. This is a 49 bed, medical and surgical telemetry unit, with a 1:3 patient:nurse ratio. It\'s a team environment looking for self-driven, highly-detailed nurses who communicate well.

Qualifications: Education

• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing preferred

• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required

• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
