Job Title: Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller Architect (Contract Consultant)Contract Duration: Full-Time, 30 WeeksLocation: Remote Work From HomeCompany Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco\'s Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC) and its API in both greenfield and brownfield environments.Job Overview:As a Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing NDFC solutions for our clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of NDFC APIs, VXLAN EVPN protocols, and VCP BGW solutions to facilitate seamless migrations and multi-site integrations.Key Responsibilities:Design and Architecture:

  • Develop comprehensive NDFC architectures for both greenfield and brownfield deployments.
  • Architect VXLAN EVPN solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
Implementation and Migration:
  • Lead the deployment of NDFC in client environments, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Execute greenfield and brownfield migrations using NDFC, applying best practices.
API Integration:
  • Utilize NDFC APIs to automate network provisioning and management tasks.
  • Develop custom scripts and tools to enhance NDFC functionality.
Multi-Site Solutions:
  • Implement VCP BGW solutions for multi-site connectivity and integration.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability across multiple data center sites.
Technical Leadership:
  • Provide expert guidance on NDFC functionality, behavior, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues related to NDFC and VXLAN EVPN.
Documentation and Training:
  • Create detailed design documents, implementation plans, and migration guides.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco NDFC in real-world environments.
  • Proven track record of successful NDFC deployments in both greenfield and brownfield scenarios.
  • Extensive experience with VXLAN EVPN protocols and architectures.
  • Experience implementing VCP BGW solutions for multi-site networks.
Technical Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of NDFC API, functionality, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation via NDFC APIs.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Nexus switches and related technologies.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Data Center.
  • Cisco Certified Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Data Center Automation and Programmability.
