Apply today for our NICU RN opening and continue to learn!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a highly-skilled compassionate NICU Nurse you will deliver exceptional patient care to our most vulnerable patients, premature and sick newborns. In addition to providing around-the-clock care to these patients, NICU RNs offer support to the parents, with a focus on emotional encouragement and education. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.As a RN in our Newborn Nursery you will deliver exceptional patient care to newborns as needed working closely with the labor and delivery/maternal child health departments. Our team works together like family, proud of the support we provide to each other and our community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care.In this role:

• You will have the ability to assess neonates at delivery and perform neonatal resuscitation if necessary.
• You will perform a head to toe assessment on infants and reassessments per hospital policies.
• You will work closely with department leadership and physicians to coordinate treatment plans and examinations.
• You will educate parents on day-to-day operations/goals, treatment plans and at home care procedures.
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

What qualifications you will need:

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN experience of 12 months or more.
