In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Onsite Services and will work closely with the Avantor\xe2\x80\x99s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel \xe2\x80\x93 and our customers \xe2\x80\x93 to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Chandler, AZ

Shift: Sun, Mon, Tue, and every other Sat, 6 pm - 6 a

Shift Differential: 15% / $2.70 per hour

Wage: $18.00 per hour

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

Education: High School diploma or GED is required; a 2-year technical degree or related experience is preferred.

Experience: 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, and/or customer service is required.

Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills required.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of either shipping, inventory, or purchasing required.

\xc2\xb7 Mechanical proficiency required.

\xc2\xb7 Effective communication (verbal & in writing) with the customer and internal contacts while maintaining a positive, can-do demeanor.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to lift 50 lbs minimum and handle a cart weighing 100 lbs.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivate and prioritize tasks to meet goals required.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of MS Access and SAP is strongly desired but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and OSHA Right to Know desired but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Cross-referencing and inside sales experience is a plus but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances, and medical checkups required.

\xc2\xb7 High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures required.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

Avantor\xe2\x80\x99s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role, you will:

\xc2\xb7 Daily fulfillment of chemical orders from customer, manage production chemical orders for Intel & deliver to POU locations throughout the Fab.

\xc2\xb7 Enter orders based on Intel production requirements in Intel\xe2\x80\x99s WIINGS or Rinchem system after being checked for accuracy.

\xc2\xb7 Manage chemical inventory at multiple stocking locations through customer-approved min/max levels.

\xc2\xb7 Delivers and picks up orders from bulk chemical stockrooms

\xc2\xb7 Segregates all incoming chemicals and those returned in the bulk chemical stockrooms by hazard class, DOT requirements, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Stores sensitive materials in Cold Storage Refrigerators

\xc2\xb7 Maintain regulatory lists and safety information for all tracked chemicals in applicable systems.

\xc2\xb7 Interface with customer on chemical orders and production requirements

\xc2\xb7 Perform coordination activities such as shipping customer material (including hazardous materials), answering customer calls, handling routine issues, operating manual carts, entering relevant shipping information into the customer computer system, and maintaining inspections on safety stations and equipment. Responsible for handling hazardous material.

\xc2\xb7 Perform purchasing functions such as providing level 2 and 3 SAP support (B/O, DFS, or 3P Support), managing quotes, document control, filing, and records maintenance, sorting and monitoring reclaimed and recyclable material, resolving open invoices/pricing, forecasting, etc Responsible for all customer service related functions including but not limited to order entry, reporting, basic cross-referencing and product conversions to VWR brand or best buy products, maintaining metrics, and cost avoidance, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Utilize VWR and customer computer systems (SAP, Citrix, Info Access, Intranet, StockTracker, ChemSW, and customer-specific ERP systems as well as customer-specific shipping systems) in fulfillment of job duties.

\xc2\xb7 Meet goals and objectives: revenue, safety, performance, and quality.

\xc2\xb7 Train new Chemical Technicians on job aspects.

\xc2\xb7 Create programs for enhanced service efficiencies.
