Job Description
Basic Job Function:
The position supports the cleaning duties of the New Jersey Commissary, which involves the deep cleaning of the facility while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily/weekly cleaning duties of the Commissary
- Ensuring the cleaning supplies and the good chemical dosage are correct
- Take proper care and attention to detail in cleaning all equipment related to the Commissary Kitchen
- Ensuring the cleaning supplies are being replenished daily
- Keeping the equipment operating by following instructions and reporting any malfunctions to the Team Leader
- Removing garbage/rubbish from production areas and dispose of in proper containers
- Assist with other duties assigned by the Commissary Manager and/or Team Leader
- Ability to use cleaning equipment properly and in a safe manner
- Adhering to cleaning standards set by the Commissary Manager
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours)
- Ability to work overnight
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 1-year maintenance experience in a similar setting
\xc2\xb7 High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
