TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our highly skilled hospital medicine (HM) team in DeLand, Florida! The position requires obtaining credentials at the following three facilities: Advent Health DeLand, Advent Health Fish, and HCA Florida Lake Monroe. This role is primarily responsible for admissions, discharges, and rounding on the facilities. The clinician hired for this role will work a rotating night shift.AdventHealth Facilities:

• AdventHealth Fish Memorial (EMR: Cerner)
• AdventHealth DeLand (EMR: Cerner)
• HCA Lake Monroe (EMR: Meditech)

Position Details:

• The APC will be on-site (one location) until 1am. Afterward, the clinician can work remotely until the end of the shift but must be available to come in if needed (this is very rare)
• The APC takes floor calls and submits orders for all admissions
• A physician oversees the shift and provides guidance to the APC on orders for admissions and is available for any questions
• No billing or notes required

The position is a 7-on 7-off schedule. The schedule rotates every other day following the schedule listed below:

• 12-hour shift: 7p-7a (covering one hospital from 7p-1a, then covering all three from 1a-7a: remote optional after 1a)
• 8-hour shift: 5p-1a (covering all three hospitals from 5p-7p, then covering one hospital from 7p-1a)
