NodeJS/React Quality Engineer

Utah (hybrid or remote)

12month Contract, may extend

Pay Range: $45.00 $60.00per hr

Our client is searching for a strong NodeJS/React Quality Engineer that will join their application development group but work with minimal supervision to with engineers improve test coverage, release velocity, and subsequently production health of the new NodeJS/React applications being built from the ground up. You will also be designing, coding, and implementing test cases and integrating with the automation suite while creating, maintaining, and executing functional, regression, and exploratory tests .

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in testing NodeJS, React, in an AWS environment
• Expertise with automation tools to test NodeJS, React, REST Web Services, JSON
• Experience with programming technologies including NodeJS and React using JavaScript Typescript
• Experience with Jest or other testing libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud services and container technologies including AWS and Docker

Bonus/Soft Skills:

• Experience with mobile testing iOS/Swift and/or Android/Kotlin
• Experience working on enterprise level application testing
• Experience leading the testing efforts of large scale application projects
• Experience with complex, large-scale systems
• Engineering mindset with an excellent product quality sense
• Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively while ensuring processes and procedures are properly followed
• Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
• Bachelor\'s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
