Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including loading and unloading cargo.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck or van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory for all driving positions. Proven experience in commercial driving or related roles is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
