About Us: At the GreenHeart Foundation, we are a passionate nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls in Bhutan and Laos by preserving and promoting the art of traditional weaving textiles. Our mission is to foster sustainable livelihoods while preserving the rich cultural heritage of these regions. Currently, we collaborate with a network of nearly 2,000 talented weavers, providing them with essential business training and access to markets, thus enabling economic empowerment and the perpetuation of their cultural traditions. : We are seeking a professional, dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to join our team, providing crucial support to the founder of GreenHeart, MarkO Bartholomew. MarkO has devoted his life to the preservation of traditional textile art in Bhutan and Laos. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate email and phone communications.
  • Attend virtual team meetings to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Assist in organizing and digitizing files for efficient document management.
  • Draft professional correspondence, including emails and letters.
  • Help manage daily schedules and weekly tasks.
  • Support the production of our podcast, featuring MarkO\'s travels and weaving expertise.
  • Aid in the editing and uploading of podcast audio to our team drive.
  • Utilize Google Workspace for document creation, editing, and collaborative tasks.
  • Assist with general office duties such as filing, organization, and document proofreading.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a valuable team member.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to undergo an orientation and training period.
  • Reliable access to the internet, email, phone, and computer.
  • Access to dependable transportation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and effective task prioritization.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or personal assistant role is preferred.
  • High regard for confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Must be located in Maui, Hawaii.
