Building Location: Building A - Duluth Clinic - 1st StreetDepartment: 11540 Elder Care:Education Qualifications:Licensure/Certification Qualifications:NP/PA xe2x80x93 Elder Care xe2x80x93 1.0 FTEVirginia, MN; Duluth, MN; and Superior, WIPRACTICE SPECIFICS:The Advanced Practice Provider utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.This position offers:
The opportunity to join a growing team to better expand our services onsite where our patients reside. Being onsite helps to unburden families and patients so they donxe2x80x99t need to make a trip to the clinic. You will provide gerontology focused care to our patients and allows our clinic-based providers greater access to patients. The Ideal candidate will have experience as an RN or Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an elder care background. Candidate needs to be comfortable working autonomously offsite with a collaborating physician partner a phone call away.Anticipated Schedule:
Start time each day 7:00 a.m. with days typically wrapping up around 5:00 p.m.
Involves after hours on call rotation, including weekends and holidays.EDUCATION:Masterxe2x80x99s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Will need to have or apply for Wisconsin license within 3 months of hire. Current certification in CPR. National certification, in applicable area.
