Corewell Health is offering up to $1,500 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity!About the unit9 South is a 32 bed medical unit that cares for a wide variety of diagnosis and multiple chronic co-morbidities in the patients with an age range 18-100+. On our unit houses our ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) program; This program helps to avoid complications for our patients 65+ so that they can return to their baseline function prior to their hospitalization and hopefully return to the home setting. The unit also sees a variety of medical overflow so you will never be bored. Provides for personal care and safety needs of patients promptly under the supervision of licensed nursing staff including specific procedures and patient testing addressed in the patient plan of care. Maintains an orderly unit environment with sufficient supplies and equipment in order to facilitate staff performance of patient care. Facilitates the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients on and off unit in accordance with established policies and procedures.How we will care for you, while you care for our patients

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience Preferred
• Current CNA certification Preferred
