ResponsibilitiesAbout Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The 295-bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.Performs the primary function of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients. The Nurse Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Sun City location manages approximately 30 personnel, as well as the clinical activities and operations of the Sun City nursing care location. Provides leadership and guidance to staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management and outcome achievement. Strives to improve the skills of others by providing clear performance feedback and coaching. Demonstrates an understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and regularly reviews, develops, implements, and ensures regulatory compliance with policies and procedures.Job Information:

• This opportunity is for a full time position with the Sun City Free-Standing Emergency Room
• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of current ED experience
• Candidate must have 5 yeras of experience in nursing specialty
• Candidate must have 3 years of supervisory experience
• Bedside and Critical Care Shift Differential
• Eligible for sign on bonus

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• BSN completion within 2-years of hire
• Masters degree, preferred
• Current RN licensure in Florida
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association
• Current PALS through American Heart Association
• Current TNCC Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI required within 6 months of hire
