ResponsibilitiesFLA Sleep APP position will work collaboratively with all personnel in Sleep Medicine at the Florida campus. APPs partner with physicians, other APPs, nursing staff, day and night sleep technicians and administration. Clinic is located mainly in the Basso Building on the west side of Mayo Clinic Florida's campus. APPs will be in clinic seeing patients with established care with our physicians / fellow(s) for follow up outpatient visits and consult visits . Virtual visits are an option as the needs of the clinic allow. Visit types include General Sleep Established and Consult Outpatient Office Visits, CPAP Compliance Office Visits, and Home Sleep Apnea Test Outpatient Clinic Visits.During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question xe2x80x93 Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.QualificationsNurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP, ACNP.Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice.Additional Qualifications:Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration requiredExemption StatusExemptCompensation DetailEducation, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.Benefits EligibleYesScheduleFull TimeHours/Pay Period80Schedule DetailsMonday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
