Description of the RoleGreenville Children's Clinic, a division of Cleveland Children's Clinic, PLLC is currently seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Greenville, Mississippi. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare to pediatric patients.Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a program with emphasis on pediatrics and/or have experienced working with patients from birth to age 21. Pediatric Nurse Practitioners with prior experience working as an RN at a pediatric clinic are encouraged to apply.Benefits

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments for pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and conditions
• Prescribe medications and perform necessary medical procedures
• Monitor patients' progress and ensure appropriate follow-up visits
• Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements

• Valid certification and licensing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in pediatrics
• Prior experience in a similar role in a clinic setting for at least 1 year required
• Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
