Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to become a part of our team!

This position requires working up to 3 days per week; at minimum every Friday and Saturday.

You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. In addition to primary family medicine, our clinic offers a wide-range of specialized care and services, including nutrition counseling, allergy testing and treatment, aesthetics, laboratory services, x-rays, ultrasounds, occupational medicine, urgent care, mental health counseling, and a full array of procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recovery Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical Science
Our clinic is open from 8 am-6 pm Monday - Friday and 8 am-12 pm Saturday. Provider coverage is required for these times.

This position will be required to work every Friday and Saturday. Additional days may be negotiated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
