Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.Additional pay when working evening/night shiftsWe are seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care)! This role provides hands on care and support services for our adult short stay patients at our spacious care center TCU in Edina, MN.This weekend patient support position includes;

• 32 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift, part time schedule
• Includes every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotations

Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
Chart or document in electronic medical record system
Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely mannerRequired:
Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date \xe2\x80\x93 OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezer\xe2\x80\x99s Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezer\xe2\x80\x99s Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.)Preferred:
Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
Work experience in a customer service setting
