The Nursing New Graduate is a member of the Nursing Dept. The Nursing New Graduate has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The Nursing New Graduate manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services under the supervision of the RN. The Nursing New Graduate develops a plan on nursing care and utilizes established clinical pathways which are implemented by the care delivery team under the supervision of the RN. The Nursing New Graduate provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities under the supervision of the RN. The Nursing New Graduate evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, as needed, revised the plan of care under the supervision of the RN. The Nursing New Graduate monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge under the supervision of the RN.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Associate\'s Degree NURSING
Preferred Bachelor\'s Degree NURSING
Less than 2 years Previous experience as a PCT Preferred
CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
