Overview:At Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital, we provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commissionxe2x80x99s Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 20-bed hospital, we are a free-standing, long-term acute care hospital serving patients in Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska.Nursing students may be eligible for level 3 career path pay by joining us as a Patient Care Tech!As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, our patients are family. Qualifications:Required Skills:xc2xb7 High School Diploma or equivalent preferredxc2xb7 C.N.A certification preferred; C.N.A certification required in SNF, SC setting.xc2xb7 CPR Certification requiredxc2xb7 One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferredAdditional Qualifications/Skills:xc2xb7 Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.xc2xb7 Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of Infection Control and proper body mechanicsxc2xb7 Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.xc2xb7 Utilizes policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.xc2xb7 Effective organizational and time management skills.xc2xb7 Effective written and verbal communication skills.xc2xb7 Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.xc2xb7 Ability to work closely and professionally with others.xc2xb7 Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Are you interested in relocating? Responsibilities:Working under the supervision of registered nurse, primarily responsible for providing direct bedside care to patients. Integrates the hospitalxe2x80x99s mission and xe2x80x9cGuiding Principlesxe2x80x9d into daily practice. Posted Total Compensation : The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Itxe2x80x99s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $16.80 - $22.17 Minimum Salary: USD $16.80/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $22.17/Hr.
