Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Baystate Health (BH), western Massachusetts\' premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School - Baystate, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights -

• Join our team of Advanced Practitioners and strong support staff in our Employee Health Services (EHS) Office at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. Our team provides care to over 12,000 employees.
• Clinical responsibilities include meeting injured employees to assess injury/illness and develop treatment plan, return-to-work appointments, clearances from ID conditions and exposures, pandemic care and medical clearances for new employees.
• Collaborate with both the Director and Manager of the department on efficiencies, growth opportunities and departmental needs.
• This full time position can either be 5 days/8 hour shifts, or 4 days/10 hour shifts. No nights, weekends, or call. We are also seeking per diem candidates who are available a minimum of one shift per week.

Qualifications: Board certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioners. Experience in occupational health, primary care or related field is desirable although we are able to offer training to motivated new graduates. Background or interest in orthopedics is helpful. Provider will be supported to achieve accreditation with American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) certification upon placement or within 18 months of start.
