This position will provide comprehensive services designed to focus on the functional needs of the child related to adaptive development, adaptive behavior and play, and sensory, motor, and postural development.This position also provides occupational therapy consultation to programs as well as support and services for children (0-8) in their natural environments for children and families with developmental delays. • Pediatric experience with birth to eight populations is preferred.
• Holds a current NBCOT Certification and a Hawaii state license in Occupational Therapy, or can obtain one at start of hire date.

This position is responsible for the provision of family-centered culturally competent OT services for children and their families, birth to age eight with typical development and developmental delays. This position provides interim and on-going care coordination services to families receiving services from Imua Family Services. The individual compiles information and the data necessary for programming and for accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health, Medicare medical insurance, and various funding sources.
