Summary of Job Duties: The Office Assistant will provide direct support to the Center for Educational Access and its programs. The Office Assistant will welcome constituents, answer and route incoming calls with respect and courtesy and respond to general inquiries. Also assist the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant with scheduling appointments, processing applications for service and disability documentation, as well as replying to basic departmental emails. Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the office. Will assist the Support Services Specialist with the note-taking, campus navigation, interpreting, and transcribing programs in addition to distributing accessible classroom furniture, noise canceling headphones, and other equipment when applicable.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
