Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. You will provide support to our management team and ensure the smooth communication between our staff and customers. This is a part-time position of around 8-12 hours per week. As a member of our staff, you will have the option to pick-up additional hours working events. Hours can be somewhat flexible.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Help organize our office spaces, supplies, and paperwork. Coordinate and help with communication between staff and customers.
- Help maintain accurate records and files
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks online to assist with keeping financial records up-to-date.
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office admin role preferred
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles
- Experience in using Quickbooks Online preferred
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and account reconciliation processes
The schedule is somewhat flexible, but it is typically Monday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm and as needed.
