Job Location: The role has an option of being 100% remote but we would prefer candidates who can work hybrid in any of our office locations in New York City, Norwalk, Boston or Chicago

About the Team
We are expanding our team of retail insights experts covering digital and omnichannel retail within our Syndicated Retail Insights team. We help our clients transform commerce insights into growth strategies across leading retailers, brand manufacturers, financial services, consultancies, and agencies. Using a unique blend of research, data, and knowledge, we offer industry-leading insights through our licensed platform, Retail IQ, host must-attend events deep diving into the channels, retailers, and topics that matter most, and help solve our clients most pressing business challenges with our custom advisory services. About the role
As an integral member of the team, you will be a subject-matter expert within our omnichannel retail team. In this role, you will support the strategy, plans and content development for key omnichannel retailers. This will include researching, developing insights, and writing content that fuels our syndicated licensed product. You will also deliver client value across a range of Kantar events and webinars and client projects.
As a member of the Retail Insights team, you are an essential part of our connected business. Our collaborative and team-based work environment blends the spirit of supporting team goals, while providing the direction and resources to ensure your continuous professional development. This role reports up to the Head of Retailer Insights for North America.
Responsibilities
Analyze the omnichannel retail landscape, including tracking and reporting on key trends.
Research and analyze data that addresses key business questions and drives actionable insights and recommendations.
Author and publish thought leadership pieces across content topics in various mediums including slide decks, blog posts and video content.
Present in person and remotely at both internal and external events.
Support client engagements including creating presentations on key omnichannel themes.
Develop & prepare retail and channel level forecasts and assumptions.
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in a field related to omni-channel retail, consulting, or market research
Experience working with major retailers in the Mass & Club channels.
High level of intellectual curiosity and a flexible growth mindset.
Highly effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to translate data into insights.
Collaborative/team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to initiate projects and achieve results.
Solid organizational ability and attention to detail.
Data manipulation skills with Microsoft Excel.
A passion for retail across channels.

The salary range for this role in Connecticut is $ 84,500.00 - $140,900 Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
