Summary of Job Duties: The Online Student Liaison\xe2\x80\x99s primary responsibility is to provide student support services for prospective and current online students. This position is to provide continued top tier student support services for online students at the University of Arkansas. The Online Student Liaison reports to the Online Student Support Manager and plays a key role in retaining online students.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in public administration, general business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of experience providing administrative services in a higher education setting
One year of experience providing customer service
Experience using business software systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working with non-traditional off-campus or online programs and students
Experience using Customer Relationship Management software
Experience with University of Arkansas student support systems and resources
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs
Knowledge of campus and community resources
Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs
Strong analytical skills
Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions
