FULL Time Treating Physical Therapist for Leadership

Physical Therapist Center Manager - Outpatient Orthopedics

NovaCare in Wilmington is seeking a licensed outpatient orthopedic physical therapist (PT) for leadership. This treating PT center manager position is full-time (40 hours) including two evenings until 7 pm, Monday through Friday. We have additional physical therapists on staff with front desk support. The treating physical therapist and center manager will provide leadership to the therapy team, market rehabilitative services, and specialty programs to the medical community, attend regular management meetings, and participate in community activities.

Previous experience as a manager is NOT required but a PLUS. You must be a DE licensed OP ortho experience PT interested in leadership. We CAN train. This is a full-time treating PT position averaging 80-90% patient care with additional time to focus on the management responsibilities as mentioned above. We have a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics offering general ortho, industrial, sports medicine, and oncology rehabilitative specialty services. Our focus on quality care starts with reasonable caseload expectations and giving our clinicians access to the industry\'s largest continuing education program.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment that is consistent with the company\xe2\x80\x99s mission, values, and goals.
• Responsibilities include direct patient care and management of operations of the center.
• Responsible for ensuring center profitability. Analyze and explain the monthly profit and loss statement and any variances for areas of responsibility, including referrals, visits, expenses, retail sales, ancillary revenue, and appropriate coding and productivity.
• Identifies and facilitates professional development needs and opportunities for staff and center
• Ensures strong physician, customer, and payor relations and coordinates implementation of clinical specialty programs as requested by the customer.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
• Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
