The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective and accurate recording and collection of operational Key Performance Indicators (KPI\'s) including daily data analysis and tracking of throughput progress, downtime, scrap, changeover, data trending, and SAP functionality. This position will have the primary responsibility for analyzing production schedules and results to identify areas for continuous improvement and areas to improve cost effectiveness. In addition this position will work with others in various departments to achieve factory business objectives of safety, productivity, customer service, quality, GMP\'s, cost and environmental protection.

What you will do

  • Develops data visualization reports as needed to analyze changeover, downtime, throughput progress, scrap, data trending, and SAP functionality to track information to support data reporting, accuracy and evaluation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 1 year Manufacturing Experience.
  • Data acquisition and ability to develop reporting systems
  • Experience in trending Production
  • Ability to record and analyze data
  • Must be proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail and SAP
  • Willing and able to adhere to all safety and EHS standards
  • Willing and able to adhere to all Quality Standards and GMP\'s
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing technical issues
  • Strong working knowledge of production processes
  • Ability to access input and retrieve information from a computer/ computer systems
  • Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed with strong results-oriented attitude
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Tolerance for food processing smells and a dusty, non-climate controlled work environment
  • Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year Manufacturing experience in human, pet food, pharmaceuticals or a related field

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $48,000- $66,000 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate\'s 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
