Our automated approach tackles the systemic labor shortage by focusing on increasing painter productivity and precision application while reducing material waste. We are hiring an Operations Manager to ensure operational excellence throughout the Arizona region. The primary role of the Operations Manager is to lead the development and oversight of all Optimized Paint construction field operations and processes in the Arizona market. In this versatile role, you will partner with the local Business Unit Director and key operations personnel to oversee the day-to-day field operations of both sub-contracted and direct personnel. You will assist in building an operational foundation to support Optimized Paint\'s high-growth model. This position is best suited for a flexible, action-oriented person who is self-driven and thrives in ambiguous settings.The Impact You\'ll Make In This RoleThe Operations Manager is a highly visible role responsible for helping Optimized Paint become an exponentially scalable organization. In this position, you will have a direct impact on the company\xe2\x80\x99s gross margins and improved information flow intended to drive organizational and operational excellence. The ideal Operations Manager will have a strong background in managing large scale commercial painting operations preferably in exterior vertical concrete coating projects.Responsibilities:

  • Build and drive a strong operational culture in the Phoenix market Implementing process framework to ensure a secure, stable, efficient, and standardized operating environment. Recruit and build the local operations team.
  • Integrate technology into the operating environment. This includes robotics, field apps, and AI to enable rapid scale, improve gross margin, and improve delivery to customers.
  • Develop and drive construction schedules across a variety of projects and customer types.
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with company\xe2\x80\x99s vendors and partners.
  • Support creating and managing your department\xe2\x80\x99s annual operating plan, including financial forecast, KPI, OKRs, and talent resource needs.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in the commercial painting industry with proven success in a Superintendent or other managerial position.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree strongly preferred.
  • Prior process design and management experience with proven planning, organizing, communication, and execution skills.
  • Successful track record of introducing new technologies, systems, processes, policies and procedures into an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and/or managing multiple remote teams simultaneously.
  • Understanding of operational and financial drivers that impact operational success.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
  • Can-do mindset with the ability to multitask and maintain composure during stressful situations.
  • High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects, and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail.
  • Quick learner and critical thinker; able to dig into complex processes and data to inform operational decisions.
