- Oversee daily operations of the facility while acting as the Manager on Duty.
- Opening and closing of the facility as the primary Manager on Duty.
- You must be a leader who is passionate about providing exceptional guest service
- Operations Manager will hire, train, schedule, and oversee all non-event staff members under the direction of the General Manager.
- Inventory management.
- Oversee facility and court inspections and maintenance to ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Manage daily tasks and processes to optimize operational efficiency.
- Enforcing and teaching ALL safety rules and waiver policy procedures.
- Perform the functions of any team member when necessary.
- Other management duties as assigned.
- Guest Experience:
- Create an employee environment of competence, high standards, and mutual respect through exemplary hiring and training of all part time employees.
- Create weekly schedules that best meet the business needs.
- Oversee all guest interactions and ensure employees are trained and prepared to handle all routine questions and issues.
- Handle any non-routine guest experience issues in a calm, professional, courteous, and expedient manner.
- Have the ability to "WOW" each and every guest that enters Sky Zone Plainfield.
- Enjoy interacting with both children and adults.
- Participate as a member of the management team to brainstorm, plan, and implement innovative ways to grow and improve the business.
- Promote and embody the culture of Healthy, Awesome, Fun - where employees go above and beyond, while keeping it safe and delivering an amazing guest experience.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor\'s Degree.
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of management experience in a related field.
- Must live or be willing to relocate within 30 minutes of the Indianapolis International Airport.
- Previous management experience with young, part time staff.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends A MUST!
- Basic computer skills required (email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Above all this position requires a "fun meets fitness" spirit that is a dedicated team player as well.
- Experience in the following fields is strongly preferred: Sports and Recreation, Family Entertainment, Restaurant Management, and/or Hospitality.
