Our client, a leading producer in the petrochemical industry, is seeking an Operations Supervisor in their Pasadena, TX location. You\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure labor productivity and efficiency, maintain employee retention, and foster positive employee relations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also analyze and resolve work-related issues and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of equipment and overall unit performance.

Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Pasadena, TX
Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

About the Role:

• Provide safety leadership and serve as a role model for safety culture within the 24/7 operating unit.
• Ensure proactive safety procedures and a safety-focused culture are established and maintained in the production unit.
• Prepare and lead plant-wide safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with operating permits, rules, and regulations to uphold safety and legal standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and maintain operating procedures while keeping training materials updated, ensuring personnel meet training requirements, and maintaining necessary documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in Chemical Plant Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience working in operating units.
• Demonstrated supervisor experience is essential.
• Effective leadership skills and the ability to collaborate productively in a cross-functional team environment are necessary for success in this role.
