Responsible for providing assistance to the director of transportation by supporting daily terminal operations with oversight of dispatching duties and processes; providing support and supervision for dispatch, trainers, drivers, and paraprofessionals; providing route coverage when necessary; maintaining all required records and files to ensure DOT and CDE compliance; assisting with departmental recruitment, hiring, and training; investigating and supporting student management issues along with bus camera maintenance; assisting with the response to and investigation of accidents; ensuring a positive, responsive rapport with district personnel, parents/guardians, and the community with timely responses to concerns/issues.

Education/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Commercial driver\xe2\x80\x99s license (CDL) with P2S endorsement
CPR and First Aid certifications
Department of Transportation Physical Card with vision and hearing tests
Valid Colorado driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
Satisfactory motor vehicle record
Negative drug and alcohol test
Criminal background check required for hire

Experience
Four years job-related experience in pupil transportation \xe2\x80\x93 terminal supervision, route scheduling/driver assignment including basic knowledge of computerized routing software

Starting salary is Grade 11 at $30.32 per hour.
