As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, offering expert advice on eye care, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties: - Assist customers in choosing appropriate eyeglasses, frames, and lenses based on their prescriptions and personal preferences. - Take precise measurements to guarantee the correct fit of eyewear. - Educate patients on various lens options, coatings, and frame styles. - Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear as necessary. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. - Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver comprehensive eye care services. Experience: - Proficiency in senior care practices, ensuring exceptional service for elderly patients. - Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in the optical setting. - Experience working in a clinic environment, providing efficient and effective patient care. - Familiarity with medical coding and terminology related to eye care services. - Understanding of physiology specific to the eyes and anatomy knowledge. - Previous experience in retail management or optical sales is advantageous. - Ability to handle medical records accurately and confidentially. - Comfort working with pediatric patients is a plus.
