Pasadena patients are looking for a doctor who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough.

This is a part time position, 2-3 days a week. The schedule is flexible, but Fridays are required. Saturdays are a bonus.

Must be able to fit contact lens and to treat medical eye and dry eye conditions.

Daily rate is based on experience/skill, $425-$600. We see pediatrics, custom contact lens patients, red eye, refractive surgery co-management.

Duties:

- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care

Experience:

- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices and procedures
- Experience using electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
