Responsibilities
Member of the orthopedic team responsible for providing patient care. Duties include but are not limited to rooming patients, patient screening, patient procedures, implementing treatment plans and follow up care. Performs associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering phones. Provides assistance with clinic daily operations and flow.
Please note this position may also work at Bellevue, Federal Way and Everett locations.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Required Credentials:
- Certified Orthopedic Technologist by the accrediting body NAOT or Registered Orthopedic Technologist by the accrediting body ASOP.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
- Current Medial Assistant- Certificated designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH)
- One of the following certifications: Current Certified medical assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered medical assistant certification through American Medical Technologists (AMT), Clinical medical assistant certification through the National Health Career Association (NHA) or National certified medical assistant through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or The American Medical Certification Association AMCA examination ( AMCA).
Preferred:
- One year Orthopedic experience.
- Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization
- Current Certification as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Medical Assistant or medical office experience
Min to Max Hourly Salary$27.46 - $44.44 /hr
Min to Max Annual Salary$57,116.80 - $92,435.20 /yr
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children\'s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
