About the Role:

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and climb to new heights? As our OSP Aerial Lineman, you'll be hands-on with installing, repairing, and maintaining the infrastructure that makes fiber optic magic happen. We're talking about everything from poles and cables to underground installations, including manholes! Your work will be essential in building the fiber future of Indiana, and we need someone who's ready for action and adventure (safely, of course).

Your Day-to-Day:

Master the Craft: Learn everything about fiber optic installation and maintenance. We'll make sure you have the skills to shine!


Safety First: You'll get to work with aerial lift equipment, but don't worry -- safety is our top priority. We'll have you trained and ready to rock.


Hard Work = Big Impact: There's a lot of physical action involved, from lifting heavy equipment to ensuring our vehicles are organized and ready for action.


Be a Team Player: You'll be part of a dynamic crew making it happen on every project. Plus, you'll help maintain accurate reports and follow safety regulations to keep things smooth sailing.


Show Off Your Skills: Operate tools like a pro, install equipment, and dress poles, all while keeping a clean work environment.


Be the Hero: When an emergency call comes in, you'll be there to save the day (and possibly the night), helping keep the fiber flowing!

What You Need to Succeed:

A high school diploma (or equivalent)


1-3 years of experience as an Aerial Lineman or a similar role (if you've got lineman certification, even better!)


A valid driver's license and a good understanding of construction principles


Ability to follow directions, operate mechanical equipment, and learn the ropes of aerial cable safety systems


Willingness to travel and be on-call when needed (don't worry, you'll be prepped and ready for action!)

This job means working outdoors in various conditions (hello, fresh air!)
