Our high performing legal team is looking for someone who is as driven, adaptable, and passionate as we are about the work this dynamic and challenging industry demands. Sitting in 20+ countries, our internal clients rely on us for support on developing, producing, promoting, and selling exciting, cutting-edge technology solutions all around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including joint development, distribution, vendor, sales and logistics, service, IP license, partnership, and more.
  • Draft, and review corporate governance documents, including shareholder resolutions, director resolutions, required government filings, and assist in maintaining corporate governance records.
  • Counsel business teams on a range of legal topics, including intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial law, competition, and other legal and regulatory areas.
  • Collaborate with the global legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies in the areas of contracting, licensing, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Assist with special projects at all levels of Renesas.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Good judgment with an understanding of when to ask for guidance or input, and how to spot and solve issues.
  • Cooperative attitude and an affinity for working with others to get the job done.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
  • J.D. degree and license in at least one U.S. state bar (preferably California or New York).
  • 1-3+ years of experience at a top law firm or similar in-house role. Litigators and other
